Just a small town boy...

Okie Wood and Leather is a locally owned and family operated small business based out of Yukon, OK, our hometown.

Craig Bornemann, the Business Owner and Craftsman, started this journey in 2017 after the birth of our daughter. Inspired by his uncle and armed with a family set of leather tools, he grew the business quickly with many loyal customers and referrals. In 2023, I (Kristin Bornemann aka Wifey aka KBo) was able to join him as Business and Project Manager. Together we have continued to grow the business, hone in our product lines, define our niche, and as of 2024, launched our retail site!

It has been an amazing journey this far. We are incredibly thankful to all of our customers for every single referral, share, like, comment, and purchase. 😊

We are excited about meeting all of our future customers and what opportunities might await us.

About our products…

We are committed to sourcing the highest quality of leathers, using unique designs, and creating a signature look with our vibrant stitching options. All of our products are handcrafted in our shop, using primarily premium US or Italian leathers.

We also work diligently to source top quality thread and hardware from US-based suppliers. As all products are made from real genuine leather, colors may vary and products may have unique markings or scratches. Each product will age and patina with time and use. To keep your items looking good and improve the lifespan, we recommend polishing at least once a month.
